Runners raise funds for chamber's scholarships

Marlborough – This year, 294 runners and walkers participated in the 19th annual Run for Fun 5K held June 19, beginning and ending at Wayside Racquet and Swim Club. Jim LeBlanc of Hudson finished first overall in 17:42. Tying as the first-place females in 22:12 were Jane Chitkara of Wayland and Alexandria Grimaldo of Marlborough. The race was followed by a poolside barbecue for the participants. Proceeds go to the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
