Region – Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center in Natick has been awarded a national quality award by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL).? The center is a 2013 recipient of the Bronze Commitment to Quality award for its dedication to improving the lives of its residents. This national program honors facilities that have demonstrated their commitment to improving quality care for seniors and individuals with disabilities
“In an age of changing health care, Mary Ann Morse has remained committed to prioritizing quality care above all else,” said Mark Parkinson, president and CEO of AHCA/NCAL. “This facility is an example of the great things that can be accomplished when we commit to person-centered care.”
Residents of the facility are from towns in the Natick area, including Framingham, Ashland, Wayland, Sudbury, Holliston, Hopkinton, Westborough, Marlborough and Wellesley.
“This award belongs to everyone who works here,” Lisa Kubiak, the center's executive director, said. “We are all committed to meeting the needs of each resident as an individual. We will continue to implement our improvement system, and our goal is to receive both the silver and gold awards in the future.”
Bronze applicants must demonstrate their ability to implement a performance improvement system. Mary Ann Morse Healthcare was one of 359 facilities to receive the bronze level award this year.
