Rob Fuller Motorsports kicks off 2014 NASCAR season with benefit party

Shrewsbury/Westborough – Rob Fuller Motorsports of Shrewsbury is hosting a Race Season Kickoff Party, Saturday, March 1, at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, 205 E. Thompson Road, Thompson, Connecticut.

Proceeds will benefit Westborough-based 15-40 Connection, a nonprofit organization committed to raising awareness about cancer survival rates in teens and young adults ages 15 to 40 and promoting early diagnosis.

Owner and driver Rob Fuller has a new team for 2014, representing Rob Fuller Motorsports and team partner 15-40 Connection.

In addition to seeking solid finishes on the race track, Fuller is also focused on telling the story of a leukemia survivor. Through his partnership with 15-40 Connection, Fuller named Josh Bell, 24, an honorary crew member and features a photograph of him on the rear deck lid and quarter panels of the team's No. 15 Chevrolet.

The team is scheduled to compete in 11 races on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Modified Racing Series this season beginning April 6 through October 19.
