Surrounded by local and state officials, David Lockwood cuts the ribbon at the grand opening of his new Taco Bell.

Westborough – Local town and business officials gathered Nov. 19 to celebrate the grand opening of the new Taco Bell located at 289 Turnpike Road, Route 9 West. The restaurant is owned by Principals Roger Lockwood, David Lockwood and Gordon McKinnon.
David Lockwood welcomed the nearly 40 people in attendance and thanked them for their support.
“We are very happy to be here in Westborough,” he said. “We are also ready to support local groups by offering fundraising opportunities.”
State representatives Carolyn Dykema, D-Holliston and Danielle Gregoire, D- Marlborough, presented Lockwood a citation on behalf of the state legislature.
Deborah Penta, chair of the Westborough Economic Development Committee, Town Planner Jim Robbins, George Barrette, chair of the Westborough Board of Selectmen, and Karen Chapman, the president of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, also offered their congratulations and welcomed Lockwood to the business community.
