Hopkinton – Normand A. Bergeron, 53, of Hopkinton, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at Milford Regional Hospital after suddenly being stricken ill at his home. He was the husband of Danielle (Eklund) Bergeron.
Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Normand M. and Mary Louise (Halley) Bergeron.
Normand was a graduate of Keefe Technical High School of Framingham and a union carpenter for Marguerite Construction of Hopedale for many years. He was a member of Northeast Regional Carpenters Union, local 218.
Normand loved the beach, dancing, and music. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and many friends.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his stepchildren, Louis Recine of Needham, Jordan Recine of Allston, and Nico Recine of Hopkinton; his sisters, Mary Anderson and her husband Jeffrey and Yvonne Wright and her husband Phil, all of Southborough, Jean Withee and her husband Brian of Westborough, and Rita Bancroft and her husband Cliff and Linda Gassett and her husband Brian, all of Hopkinton; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Bergeron, who passed away in December.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, March 6, from 4-7 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, 26 Highland St., Southborough. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
