Marlborough – Children excitedly welcomed their guests to the “Someone I Love Tea” the morning of Feb. 25 at the Happy Hours Preschool, located in the Pleasant Street Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest. Each preschooler invited a special person including parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and babysitters. Food platters were prepared by the young hosts.
After enjoying refreshments together, the children performed songs while doing sign language. They all listened to Preschool Director Barbara Masterson read the story “Love You Forever,” written by Robert Munsch and illustrated by Sheila McGraw. The gathering concluded with the children giving their special guests a handmade keepsake craft that included their handprints and a poem.
Tea parties for the preschool’s other age groups were hosted that afternoon and the following day.
Happy Hours Preschool offers two-, three- and five-day programs for children ages of 2.9 through 5, and is currently accepting enrollment for September. To schedule a visit with your child or for more information, call Masterson at 508-485-4912 or visit bgcmetrowest.org.
