Shrewsbury/Fitchburg – Cathi (Grady) Gordon, 49, of Shrewsbury and Fitchburg, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Health Alliance Leominster after a brief illness.
She leaves her son, Edmund “Eddy” J. Gordon of Shrewsbury; her parents, Donald W. and Elaine A. (Hesketh) Grady of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Christine M. and her husband Warren Jameson of Northbridge and Dawn E. and her husband Lee Donohue of Grafton; a brother, Robert W. and his wife Pam Grady of Oxford; a grandson, Aidyn O’Hara Gordon of Chicopee; and nieces and nephews, Bobby and Mikey Jameson, Morgan and Logan Donohue and Nicole and Joe Grady.
She lived most of her life in Shrewsbury and was a 1983 graduate of Shrewsbury High School. She worked at IKON Office Solutions in Westborough and Pub 99 in Worcester.
Cathi cherished the love and support she received from her many Friends of Bill W. She loved to organize and attend the annual camping retreat where she earned the nickname “Camping Cathi.”
She loved to bake and draw, but, above all, she loved to spend time with her son, grandson, and her nieces and nephews. Despite the challenges she faced over the years the deep love, Cathi had for her family never wavered. Her huge heart and contagious laugh will be deeply missed.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated Monday, March 30 in Saint Anne’s Church of Shrewsbury. The Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
