Obit Frank DelCidShrewsbury – Frank J. DelCid, 33, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Marlborough, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester after a two-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Jocsan DelCid of Worcester and Misty (Bushey) DelCid of Woodsville, N.H. He was a graduate of Assabet Valley Regional High School, class of 2000, and later attended Rhode Island Institute of Technology.

Frank was an auto sales manager at Long Cadillac in Southborough, and was also a landscaper in the Worcester area. He loved sports and played football for Assabet Valley.

Besides his parents, he leaves his daughter, Myah N. DelCid of Worcester; two sisters, Misty J. Albert of Milford and Ann C. DelCid of Marlborough; his maternal grandmother, Ardis Joslyn of Woodsville, N.H.; his paternal grandparents, Jose and Zoila (Asturias) DelCid of Northborough; a nephew, Anthony, and two nieces, Aliana and Alexandra all of Milford; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and his fiancé, Mandy Mikalunas of Shrewsbury.

Calling hours will be held Friday, May 8, from 7-10 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough. Burial will be held in New Hampshire.
