Shrewsbury – The LiveLife Family Day, celebrating first responders and military families, will be held Sunday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hebert Candy Mansion, 574 Hartford Turnpike, Shrewsbury. The event will include a free BBQ, meet and greet with service dogs, bounce houses, face painting and other activities. Each of age guest will receive a free Sam Adams beer and there will be special giveaways for military personnel and first responders.
The day will also feature a raffle to win a Smart TV, Kindle Fires, tablets and a few family passes as well as an opportunity to “Dunk-a-Vet” with crew of the USS Constitution. All proceeds and donations will benefit Valiant Veterans, an organization providing support for local veterans.
