Marlborough – Lee D. Jackson, 69, died unexpectedly Monday evening, July 20, 2015 after being stricken ill at home. He was the husband of Jo Ann (Gould) Jackson to whom he was married for 26 years.

He was born in Framingham, the son of the late J. Donald and Marilyn (Brewer) Jackson, and lived in Marlborough his whole life.

Mr. Jackson spent much of his life running the sawmill at the Jackson Farm, which he helped operated with his family for many years. He was an avid card player with a particular enjoyment for cribbage. His greatest enjoyment was his four children and he was so proud of all of them.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Matt Jackson and his significant other Erin of Hudson, Brett Jackson and his wife Liz of Hudson, and Joe Jackson of Marlborough; one daughter, Jenni Jackson of Marlborough; two brothers, Bob Jackson of Marlborough and Keith Jackson; five grandchildren, Drew, Conor, Will, Sam, and Ben; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St. Marlborough. Burial will follow in the Rural Cemetery of Southborough. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Friday, July 24, from 5-8 p.m.
