Hudson – Genevieve F. Freve, 89, of Hudson, formerly of Fall River, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 17, 2015 at Beaumont Skilled Nursing Center in Westborough after a period of declining health. She is survived by her beloved husband of 71 years, Wilfred J. Freve of Hudson.
Genevieve was born in Fall River, daughter of the late George and Aurore (Bouchard) Stephanos.
She is also survived by her son, Paul Freve and his wife Jeanne of Hudson; her grandson, Jonathan Freve and his two children, Alex and Cecilia, and Jonathan’s girlfriend Rachel Kizis and her son Noah, all of Northborough; and her granddaughter, Julie Warner and her husband Derek and their children Rylie and Franklin of Stow.
A funeral service and celebration of Genevieve’s life will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Family and friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m., and the service will be conducted at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Genevieve may be made to the Hudson Senior Center, 29 Church St., Hudson, MA 01749.
