Marlborough – Kathleen M. (Scott) Duffy, 63, of Marlborough, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Marlborough, she was the daughter of the late William D. and Grace L. (Spiller) Scott.
A home health aide, Kathleen loved her occupation and was devoted to caring for her elderly patients with dignity.
A graduate of Marlborough High School, class of 1970, she loved being with her seven grandchildren, reading, gardening and music.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle R. Taylor and her husband Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., Katie Duffy and her husband Christopher Miller of Stafford, Va., and Rebecca Flagg and her husband Michael of Athol; her brothers, David Scott of Hudson and W. Joseph Scott and his wife Sharon of Johnson City, Tenn.; her sisters, Judith Johnson and her husband Ronald of Croyden, N.H. and Carol McEwen and her husband Richard of Marlborough; her close friend, Charles Bombard of Marlborough; her grandchildren, Chelly, Alana, Alyssa, George, Matthew, Dillon and Liam; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Slattery Funeral Home of Marlborough.
