Westborough – The Westborough Senior Center Supporters (WSCS) are hosting a Cherry Pie and Ice Cream Social in honor of Presidents Day on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 1-3 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Rd. Dennis Fenton will also be leading a sing-a-long.
The WSCS will also be hosting an afternoon featuring a viewing of a video interview with the late Cecelia Grynsel on Friday, Feb. 19 from 1-3 p.m. at the center.
Grynsel, who died on July 28, 2015, was a 50-year member of the Westborough Country Club where she was a 20-year club champion in the 18 Hole Women’s League. She was also the winner of the Senior Golf Olympics in Cleveland, Ohio in 2013.
Light refreshments will be served.
There is no charge for either event but reservations are required by calling 508-366-3000.
