Southborough – The Massachusetts State Police are reporting that a bus fire has closed Mass Pike West in Southborough:
Mass pike westbound closed in Southboro for a bus fire. Approx 50 passengers out of bus. No injuries. Developing. Southboro fire companies on scene. MSP working to get another bus to scene to pick up passengers.
UPDATE: Pike WB left lane now open. Passengers being removed from shoulder of road by school bus provided by Ashland Police.
2nd UPDATE: Passengers removed by Ashland Police bus. Burned bus still onscene. Traffic backup WB approximately 5 miles.
