Westborough launches website for 300th anniversary celebration

Westborough – Westborough’s 300th Anniversary Committee continues to plan and develop programs and activities for the town’s anniversary celebration throughout 2017, and has just launched a new website, Westborough300.com, as a focal point for communications to keep residents and others interested in keeping abreast of, and involved in, the celebration. As more details are finalized, the website will serve as the fastest and easiest way to stay up-to-date on events surrounding the celebration.

The committee is hoping others will join the group of volunteers planning details for a parade, field day, fireworks, a ball, and a store to sell Westborough-themed arts, crafts and commemorative memorabilia.

Deb Schradieck, 300th Committee co-chair, said, “We’re making good progress but there are other opportunities we’d like to explore, so we’re hoping more volunteers will jump in to help out.”

Interested residents, including students, should contact Deb at [email protected] or use the “Contact Us” button on the website.
