Upton – One person has died after a fire broke out in Upton this afternoon in an apartment building at the corner of Centennial Court and Main Street (Route 140). Firefighting units helping to respond to the blaze included Westborough, Grafton, Hopkinton, Milford, and Hopedale.
The fire started on the first floor and quickly spread. It took firefighters two hours to extinguish.
