Stow – Frances T. (Moitozo) Mason, 84, of Stow, formerly of Hudson, died Friday, June 3, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, at River Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lancaster.
Frances was born and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late Manuel and Catherine (Garcia) Moitozo. She lived most of her adult life in both Hudson and Stow.
She was a longtime employee of the Digital Equipment Corp. working in the mail room at the company’s Northborough annex. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson and Saint Isidore Parish in Stow.
Frances was always full of life. She always looked forward to spending time with her family, especially later with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching a good horror movie and will always be fondly remembered for her unique sense of humor.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Conlon of Stow and Linda Savoy and her husband Phil of Shrewsbury; her two sons, Michael Mason and fiancée Lisa Fasolino of Norton and Steven Mason and his wife Christine of Leominster; her six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Manuel Moitozo of Stow; her sister, Mary Forand of Northborough, along with many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, June 8, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, Hudson. The Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson (www.tighehamilton.com) assisted with arrangements.
