Shrewsbury
In the fall of 2013, the town of Shrewsbury passed a bylaw allowing farmers markets for the first time in Shrewsbury. Shortly after, Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market, LLC was formed and began the process of planning the first farmers market in Shrewsbury history. The market currently hosts over a 25 vendors and is being held at Ski Ward Ski Area, 1000 Main St. The market is open every Wednesday from June 17 – Sept. 30 and operates from 2-6:30 p.m.
Grafton
The Grafton Farmers’ Market is moving to Wednesdays, June 29 through Oct. 12, from 2-6 p.m. on the Grafton Common. There will be over 20 vendors this year, including local food trucks, a new addition to the market. It will also feature live music and a variety of activities for families. Westborough
The sixth season of the Westborough Farmers’ Market opened June 2 and will continue Thursdays through Sept. 29 from 2 – 6 p.m. on the front lawn of the Congregational Church, 57 W. Main St. Rain or shine. The market will feature vendors selling farm fresh produce, local maple syrup, honey, artisan cheeses, wine, baked goods and more.
