Shrewsbury – Arline E. (Perkins) Shenette, 88, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2017 at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy illness. Her husband, Leo Shenette Sr., passed away in 1992.
Arline is survived by her three sons, Leo Shenette Jr. and his wife Patricia of Webster, Barry Shenette, and William Shenette of Shrewsbury; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Arline was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph, Lester, and Irving Perkins, and sisters, Doris Roy and Shirley Giddings.
She was born Dec. 2, 1928 in Shrewsbury, daughter of the late Emma (Graves) and Roscoe Perkins. She was a caregiver, particularly for her brother, Irving, after he sustained serious injuries serving in World War II, and also for her father, Roscoe.
