Shrewsbury – Antoinette “Toni” M. (Papagni) Montonari, 82, of Shrewsbury, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017 at UMass Hospital in Worcester.
Toni is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, John F. Montonari; two sons, John Montonari and Anthony P. Montonari and his wife Kelly, all of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Erica George, John Michael Montonari, Taylor Marie Montonari, and Anthony P. Montonari Jr.; a sister, Josephine O’Mara of Shrewsbury; and nieces and nephews. Her daughter, Gina George, predeceased her in 1994.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of Antonio and Angelina (DiPilato) Papagni.
Toni and her husband raised their family in Shrewsbury. She was dedicated as a wife and mother, making sure that her family came first and her love for them was boundless. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking.
Toni spent many years, working part-time at Dunkin Donuts, offering customers their daily coffee and her friendly smile.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
