Marlborough – Mary (Camacho) Burgio, 98, of Marlborough, formerly of Hudson, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017.
Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Jacinto and Romana (Correia) Camacho and the wife of the late Antonio Burgio.
She had been employed at Data General as an assembler for many years before retiring. She had previously worked for the former Thomas Taylor Company in Hudson as a machine operator.
A member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson, Mary loved to sing and dance and was an accomplished seamstress.
She is survived by her son, Robert Burgio, and his wife Nancy, and her cherished granddaughter, Rebecca Burgio, all of Marlborough; many beloved nieces and nephews; and her dear cousin, Emanuel Alcantara of Chelmsford. She was also the sister of the late Moses, Gus, Silva “Moon,” Daniel “Danny” Camacho, and Rose Ledoux.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Feb. 22, from 5-7 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. at the Slattery Funeral Home, Inc., 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
Burial will be private.
