Westborough – Julio’s Liquors teamed up with Jonathan Goldsmith, “The Most Interesting Man in the World,” and Astral Tequila Sept. 25 to help raise money for victims of Hurricane Harvey which recently struck Texas.
Goldsmith played the iconic “Most Interesting Man in the World’ in a series of advertisements for the Dos Equis brand of beer from 2000-2016.
“We turned a tasting and meet & greet with the ‘Most Interesting Man in the World’ into an opportunity to help others,” said Julio’s owner Ryan Maloney of the Sept. 25 event.
Every bottle of Astral Tequila sold that day raised $5 to the relief effort, totaling $300 from the two hour visit.
Donations were placed through www.hands.org.
