Algonquin takes on Nashoba in soccer doubleheader

Region – The Algonquin Regional High School boys and girls soccer teams travelled to Nashoba Regional on Saturday, October 14 for a soccer doubleheader.

In the first game of the evening, the Algonquin boys defeated Nashoba 2-1.  The Tomahawks two goals were scored by Nick Canzoneri and Jonathan Hatem.  The boys improved to 8-3-1 on the season.

In the second game of the evening, the Algonquin girls battled to a 0-0 tie against Nashoba.  Senior Amanda Carroll made 11 saves in net for Algonquin.  The girls’ season record now stands at 9-3-2.
