John D. Pajzer, 55, of ShrewsburyShrewsbury – John D. Pajzer, 55, of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly at home Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017.

John graduated from Algonquin Regional High School and went on to study accounting at Nichols College. He later earned his Certified Public Accountant license and worked for various companies throughout the years. For the past ten years, he has worked as an accountant for Waters Corporation in Milford.

John loved the outdoors. He was a gardener, animal lover, bird enthusiast and fisherman. He also enjoyed spending time around the fire pit with friends and a good cigar. On the weekends, he could be found under one of the family cars, especially his beloved 944 Turbo Porsche. Every winter, John took a trip to the Twelve Hours at Sebring Race in Florida where he enjoyed the car race and warmer weather.

For many years, he was a regular blood donor for the American Red Cross. He spent many hours cheering on the Bruins and the Patriots, and enjoyed going on day trips to Boston and Newport with his family.

He is survived by Tracey A. Pajzer, his wife of 27 years, and his daughter, Chelsea Pajzer. He is also survived by his mother, Bronislawa (Bernie) Hoelle; his brother, Richard Pajzer; and his four sisters, Helene O’Connor and her husband Tom, Margaret (Sue) Fantony and her husband Steve, Elizabeth (Julie) Manzo and her husband Paul, and Carolyn Frasch and her husband Jurgen. He also leaves many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Dieter Hoelle.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with John’s family Friday, Oct. 20, from 4-7 p.m., in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. His funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Tpke., Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery of Shrewsbury.
