William J. YetmanNorthborough – William J. Yetman, 77, of Northborough and formerly a longtime resident of Southborough, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at his home after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Elaine A. (White) Yetman for the past 52 years.

Bill was a 1958 graduate of Framingham High School, and was a self-employed driver/salesman for Pepperidge Farm and later for Archway Cookies.

He was a Southborough youth soccer coach for many years, and was an active member of Southborough Senior Center and St. Anne Church of Southborough, where he was a lector and sang in the choir. Bill liked to sing and was also a member of Assabet Valley Master Singers and Westborough Community Chorus.

He enjoyed summering in Vermont; however, his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew Yetman of Woodbury, Conn., Steven Yetman and his wife Jenna of Eden, Vt., Peter Yetman of Hyde Park, Vt., and Kristen Peterson and her husband Christopher of Northborough,  and seven grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, March 18, from 2-4 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 19, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Rd., Southborough. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to either Southborough Senior Citizens, 9 Cordaville Rd., Southborough, MA 01772; Livestrong Foundation, Box 6070, Austin, TX 78762; or Westborough Community Chorus, Inc., Box 702, Westborough, MA 01772.
