Marlborough – William “Billy” Griffin, of Marlborough, died peacefully Saturday, March 24, 2018 with his wife and loved ones at his side.
Billy served as a sharpshooter in the U.S. Army, later working for Cohen Properties and retiring after 35 years.
He was happily married to his wife, Elizabeth (Dupuis) Griffin for the last 49 years.
He enjoyed sharing old stories over a cup of tea, landscaping, old trains, trips to Peabody, his kitties and making everyone around him laugh. He will be forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his brother, Francis Griffin; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Bill Gallagher; and many adoring nieces and nephews. He was also the step-father of the late Jimmy Landino.
There are no funeral home visiting hours. Burial will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
