Worcester – Are you considering buying a new home but are unsure or overwhelmed by the many facets of just what is needed to do so? Then consider attending a complimentary seminar on home ownership Wednesday, June 13 at the Fix Burger Bar, 108 Grove St., Worcester. The seminar is sponsored by Central One Federal Credit Union and Fletcher Tilton PC Attorneys at law.
During this seminar, representatives from the two companies will guide you through the process and answer all of your home buying questions. They will teach you how to navigate the real estate buying process, from financing to the closing and beyond. Home ownership is more affordable than you may think.
Topics will include:
- Overview of FICO scores and how your credit affects the loan
- Pre-qualification process
- First Time Home Buyer programs
- Know the role of the attorney
- Your property search
- Understanding homeowners insurance
Guest speakers will include the Central One Federal Credit Union Lending team: Ashley Campbell, Jamal Debrosse, Lori Gaskins, Jillian Hildebrand, and Darren Hill; Lisa Griffiths, Insurance Executive, Oak Tree Insurance; and Christopher P. Yates, real estate attorney, Fletcher Tilton PC.
Registration will be from 5:30-6 p.m., followed by the seminar from 6-7:30 p.m. and then a Q&A session from 7:30-8 p.m.
