Hudson – Margaret M. (Curley) Gill, 87, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died July 1, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 2015.
Margaret was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Raymond and Nora (Toomey) Curley. She was raised in Hudson where she attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Michael’s Academy.
She enjoyed spending time at her home and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Margaret was a loving and caring woman who will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her five children, Joseph F. Gill Jr. and his wife Nancy of Lancaster, Mary Ann Rossi and her husband Bob of Leominster, Daniel Gill and his wife Doreen of Lancaster, Michael Gill and his wife Cheryl of Lancaster, and Christine Almeida of Hudson. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as her brother, Richard T. Curley and his wife Charlene of Hudson, and her sister-in-law, Gloria Curley of Hudson. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Eugene F. Curley and Raymond J. Curley II.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful nurses and aides that attended to Margaret during this time.
There will be a calling hour Thursday, July 5, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Final committal services will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery of Hudson.
