Shrewsbury – The Memory Lane Cafe at The Shrewsbury Senior Center, 98 Maple Ave., will debut Friday, Oct. 12. A memory cafe is a safe place for people with forgetfulness and their care partners to enjoy a time of socialization and support away from their everyday routine.
The cafe will take place on the second and fourth Fridays of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with time for guests to socialize, enjoy lunch and participate in a scheduled activity.
The cafe compliments the Shrewsbury Library’s Good Day Cafe that meets on the first and third Fridays of the month from 2 to 4 p.m. Both cafes are free and open to the public.
