Marlborough – The Colonial Garden Club of Marlborough will kick off the holidays with their 40th Pear Tree Boutique Saturday, Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 1 Lt Charles W. Whitcomb Middle School, 25 Union St.
This very popular event features original, hand crafted creations by all their talented club members. The Boutique is the perfect place to select one-of-a-kind items for someone
special on your list or for your own home.
The Pear Tree Boutique is a fundraising tradition that supports the clubs many philanthropic activities, including its beautification efforts and Scholarship Program. Club members have been working overtime to create a huge assortment of beautiful fresh and artificial green arrangements, swags, mailbox decor, wreaths, kissing balls, mantle piece decor, gift baskets and much more. As always, shoppers will find a wide array of fresh baked cookies and holiday treats available for purchase. The club suggests that shoppers come early as their inventory is “literally, bought out very quickly!”
