Region – PR Management Corporation, a franchisee of Panera bread, presented $24,000 to the Worcester County Food Bank as part of its Feeding America initiative. Providing hunger relief to the people of central Massachusetts, the Worcester County Food Bank focuses on engaging, educating and leading Worcester County by creating a hunger-free community. Over the past month, PR Management Corp. has donated a total of $171,000 to different food banks not only in Massachusetts, but in New Hampshire and Maine as well.
“We hope this donation goes a long way in supporting the important work of the team at the Worcester County Food Bank,” said David Peterman, co-founder of PR Management Corp. “We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Worcester County Food Bank. They do such amazing work for so many individuals and families in central Massachusetts.”
The bakery-cafes of Massachusetts operated by PR Management Corp, including those of Shrewsbury, Leominster, Milford, Westborough, Millbury, Webster, Sturbridge and Worcester, collected funds from customers through in-store canisters. Panera Bread/PR Management then matched a percentage of all funds donated by its customers, bringing the total donation for the Worcester County Food Bank to $24,000.
