Worcester – Dr. Sahana Ramos, BDS, DMD, general dentist and founder of the Evershine Dental Group, a new multi-specialty dental office in downtown Worcester, aims to provide for her patients a professional dental experience, using the latest advancements, by a caring team in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Ramos and her team provide comprehensive oral care to patients of all ages so her practice is an ideal option for busy families. Additionally, they are conveniently located at 100 Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 100, Worcester, in a clearly marked medical building, just off of I-290, with plenty of free validated parking.
Patients are greeted by a friendly staff and the waiting area is brightly lit and comfortably appointed.
“It is very important to me to make my patients feel comfortable and at ease,” stated Dr. Ramos. “We want to remove the anxiety from the dental experience.”
The Evershine Dental Group offers all aspects of general dentistry including preventative (oral hygiene, sealants and fluoride, periodontal therapy, nightguards and athletic mouthguards), cosmetic and restorative (crowns, porcelain veneers, bridges, implants and whitening, complete and partial dentures), selected oral surgical and endodontic procedures as well as general check-ups, x-rays, and cleanings – all with state of the art technology.
Her practice includes two registered dental hygienists who have years of expertise. She also has an endodontist and periodontist/implant specialist on her team so she is able to provide for most of her patients’ needs.
“We want to make dentistry convenient for our patients without compromising the quality of their care,” Dr. Ramos explained.
Dr. Ramos has been practicing dentistry for over 16 years. In addition to her practice in Worcester, she sharpened her many skills in Greater Boston, notably at Massachusetts General Hospital. She also served as faculty and supervising dentist of the Dental Hygiene Program at Middlesex Community College in Lowell, Mass.
She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Mass. in 2009, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India in 2002 and completed her clinical residency at the Yenepoya Dental Hospital, Mangalore, India in 2003.
Dr. Ramos’s professional affiliations are many and include the American Dental Association, International Team for Implantology, Academy of General Dentistry and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She also regularly attends continuing education courses to keep current with the latest advances in dentistry.
The Evershine Dental Group is welcoming new patients and accepts most major insurance plans. MasterCard, VISA, Discover and CareCredit are also accepted.
