Northborough – The Doggie Den is the place to be when a dog’s owner heads to work. Dogs pile out of their owners ‘cars, and hurry inside to their play area. Running, jumping onto padded crate tops, wrestling, chasing balls, chewing on toys, it’s all good. In the evening, their family picks them up so they can go home to dinner and sleep. And are they ever tired!
Owner, Susan LaDue has been in business since 1998.
“It’s always been about quality,” she said. “You have to pay the bills, but more important is providing a safe environment where the dogs have a ball.”
And the goals, after 22 years in business?
“It’s not about getting bigger. It’s about being an area institution that people can count on for friendly quality and service,” she said.
