Westborough – Hours and hours of preparation and work paid off for the Westborough Senior Center Supporters (WSCS) as they hosted their successful annual holiday fair Nov. 23 at the senior center’s Rogers Road location.

Hundreds of residents visited the fair, purchasing baked goods, crafts, and jewelry among other items. They were also able to purchase raffle tickets for some of the many creative baskets that had been made or donated by the members.

One special person was missing this year, however; Jean Cox, who passed away in March. For years Cox was an avid member of the WSCS and actively involved in the fair. In her memory this year, her daughter Cheryl Caissie and her daughter Lily, 3, along with Cox’s sister-in-law Cathy Holomsback and her daughter Susan Huckins, helped to oversee the baked good table, where a picture of Cox was lovingly displayed.
