Westborough – Vincent Servello III brings his passion for entrepreneurship into his accounting work with local small business owners and individuals alike. Located at 176 E. Main Street, Suite 7, Servello CPA puts an emphasis on service.

“I have the ability to support various industries and people under the umbrella of accounting, which I love,” he said, “and I get the excitement of entrepreneurship by helping others achieve their financial goals.”

In addition to preparing tax returns, Servello offers business formation and planning services, financial statement analysis, bookkeeping, goal planning and other financial and tax advice year-round.

He emphasizes the importance of keeping in touch with clients through calls, texts and emails throughout the year. To avoid surprises come April, it’s crucial to know when people are starting a family, buying or selling a house or making investments, and he makes a point of being in frequent contact with every client in order to stay current.

“Our goal is to inform our clients of the potential tax consequences of any decisions they make, so they are properly equipped to make educated choices,” Servello explained. “We make sure clients are comfortable enough to ask questions throughout the year, and we provide full transparency so that there are no surprises when tax returns are filed.”

Servello received both a B.S. in public accounting and an M.S. in taxation from Fordham University. Following graduation, he worked for a Big Four Accounting firm in Boston, gaining tax experience with Fortune 500 companies and high net-worth individuals. He also worked in commercial real estate handling complex tax transactions.

In addition to eliminating a lengthy commute, he knew he eventually wanted to return to Westborough where he grew up and graduated high school in 2006.

“I wanted to bring my experiences back to Westborough to help foster new business and development in the area. Whether you are a Fortune 500 company or you own a local small business, there are various complex issues that owners experience on a day-to-day basis — our firm strives to utilize best practices and communicate outcomes so businesses can continue to grow.”

Above all, Servello especially enjoys making personal connections with clients and being out and about in the community.

“We strive to be that shoulder to lean on in the community whether you’re starting a business, working through a transitional period or if you simply have a tax question,” he said.

The firm has clients in 10 states, with the majority located between Westborough and Boston. Unlike many firms, billing at Servello CPA is not done hourly; instead, clients are charged based on the complexity of their tax situation.

Servello’s personal touch and dedication to open communication is the heart and soul of his business.

“Serving as their accountant and trusted advisor allows us to plan for today and tomorrow together,” he said.
