Gladys G. LaPanHudson – Gladys G. (Kimmens) LaPan, 96, of Hudson, passed away peacefully, on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at The Reservoir Center in Marlborough, MA, after a period of declining health.

Gladys was born in Marlborough, MA on July 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Basil W. and Cordelia (Gosselin) Kimmens. She was raised in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School in the class of 1941. Gladys worked for Digital Equipment Corp in Maynard as a clerk for many years before eventually retiring. She was a lifelong devout member of Saint Michael Parish in Hudson, where she was a past Secretary in the Thousand Club. She also enjoyed bowling crocheting and sudoku puzzles. She will most be remembered as a generous and kind person who always put others needs before her own.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Rita C. Cormier of Maynard; her grandchildren, Rebecca Mills and her spouse Perry, Wendy Gibson, Justin Gibson and his spouse Dorothy and Damian Cormier; 9 great- grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis J. LaPan; her sister, Rita Kimmens and her grandson, Kim Gibson.

Calling Hours will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm, on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 24, 2020 in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery in Hudson for interment.
