Marlborough – St. Mary’s Credit Union has made a $10,000 donation to the United Way of Tri County’s Marlborough Community Cupboard, to assist those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“St. Mary’s Credit Union is committed to being here for our members, and the communities we serve. The need right now is so high; we wanted to put together a program to support our communities. Our $250 donation [per closed mortgage] program does exactly that. When someone closes their refinance or purchase with us, we put the money right back in our communities. That is the credit union way, people helping people,” said James Garvey, president & CEO of St. Mary’s Credit Union.

St. Mary’s $250 Program commits that for every mortgage closing from April 17 through June 30, 2020, the bank will donate $250 to a local food bank, up to a total of $20,000. To learn more about the program, visit the mortgage page at stmaryscu.org
