Northborough – Since June 24, a drive-through community meal has been offered in the parking lot of Trinity Church of Northborough, 23 Main St., every Wednesday at 6 p.m. Before COVID-19, meals were offered every Wednesday since its inception in January 1996 to anybody in need of a nutritious meal, or looking for community support. The organization is now trying to fill its void, in a safe and socially distanced manner. The meals are purchased from local restaurants and handed out, along with water and dessert, to anyone who comes. This is a concerted effort between Trinity Church, Northborough Junior Woman’s Club, the Northborough Food Pantry and many other local faith communities, community organizations, and individuals who volunteer their time and donate toward this effort.
