Grafton – Patricia Martin, 60, passed away peacefully August 13, 2020 at home surrounded by her adoring family. She spent her life generously giving to everyone she loved; this is the legacy she leaves.
Patricia leaves her husband of 39 years, Marcel Martin, her children Joseph, Katherine and Daniel Martin, her siblings Steven Kalczysnki and his wife Debbie, Susan Milkman and her husband Robert, Jean LeClaire and Linda Sweeney and her husband Paul and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Marie (L’Esperance) and Walter Kalczynski. She grew up in Shrewsbury and eventually settled in Grafton with her husband Marcel where they raised their family. For more than 20 years she was a devoted member and Administrator at the Unitarian Universalist Society on Grafton Common.
Away from her service the time spent with family was what mattered most to her. She loved to camp and enjoy the outdoors with her husband and family and when she could travel she treasured that as well. She was also easy to find with her feet in the sand at beaches across New England.
Memorial services and burial for Patricia will be private. There are no calling hours. Please honor her with a memorial donation to Dana Farber Cancer Institute at www.Dana-Farber.org.
