Region – Twelve months ago, many of us were filled with optimism about a new year and a new decade. However, with the advent of the pandemic, our optimism was dealt a serious blow.
Gone were such basic things as social visits and dining out… but these inconveniences pale in comparison to the suffering COVID-19 caused for those who contracted it and the many lives disrupted across our society.
Although the vaccine is not a quick fix, it gives many what they needed most…assurance that we could eventually put the pandemic behind us.
Here’s hoping that 2021 will see a return of the precious normalcy we once took for granted.
