Ronald A. CerasoliGrafton – Ronald A. Cerasoli, 82, passed away at home after a sudden illness Jan. 20, 2021.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Carol (Starvaski) Cerasoli; his three sons, Daniel and his wife Carol, David and his wife Susan and Dean and his wife Sharon; his grandchildren, Monica McKeever and her husband Matthew, Alicia Cerasoli, Nicholas Cerasoli and his wife Danielle and Benjamin and Emily Cerasoli; and one great-granddaughter, Natalie McKeever; his siblings, Dennis and Michael Cerasoli and Patricia Burdett; and several nieces and nephews.

Ron was born in Worcester, son of the late Beatrice (Leonard) and Americo Cerasoli. In 1955, Ron joined the U.S. Navy, and after serving on the USS Grand Canyon, he returned to finish his schooling and go on to earn his Master’s degree from Worcester State College.

Ron then began a career teaching Chemistry that spanned more than 30 years at Westborough High School where he was department head for many years. He was beloved by countless students over the course of his teaching career.

Away from teaching he was active in the Westborough Players Club as an actor and director and he also channeled his love for drama directing plays at Westborough High. He was also a member of the Westborough Community Chorus. He was a 32nd degree Mason and member of Mount Lebanon Lodge in Boston.

Closer to home he and his wife Carol took many bus trips together and spent summer vacations at Point Judith, Rhode Island in addition to taking numerous cruises.

All are welcome to gather with Ron’s family Monday, Jan. 25, from 5-7 p.m., at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St., North Grafton. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Funeral services and burial will be private.
