Frances A. ContiHudson – Frances Ann (McIlveen) Conti, 95, a lifelong resident of Hudson, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her beloved family, on May 4, 2021 after a period of declining health. She is reunited with her husband of 40 years, Nello E. Conti, who predeceased her in 1996.

Frances was born on March 6, 1926 in Somerville, one of seven children of the late Francis and Viola (Travis) McIlveen. She was raised in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School in the class of 1943. After graduating, she married Carl Beauregard and together they had two daughters before Carl passed away untimely at the age of 30. Frances later remarried Nello E. Conti and together they had another daughter and spent the next 40 years married raising their children and caring for their family.

Frances worked as an administrative assistant in Hudson at the Assessor’s Office and also for the Hudson Housing Authority for many years, before eventually retiring.

Frances was a strong, caring and generous person. She helped out many friends and relatives in times of need and welcomed many of them into her home to stay.

She was a lifelong member of Saint Michael parish in Hudson. Frances was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and doing crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her family and especially cherished the family vacations to Maine every year.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Lisa C. Ciesinski and her husband Michael of Hopkinton; her sister, Joan Rossley; three grandchildren, Will Ciesinski, Stefanie Musich and her husband Thomas, and Brent Chiera and his fiance Tiffani Blas; five great-grandchildren, Connie, Noelle, and Gwen Musich and Evann and Eva Chiera; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her two daughters, Ann Marie Beauregard and Susan Chiera, and her siblings, Catherine St. Jean, Phyllis Loureiro, William McIlveen, Robert McIlveen, and Dawn Dupont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 14, at 9 a.m., at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery on Cox Street in Hudson for committal services. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the services.
