Anne MariniConcord – Anne (Boutin) Marini, 87, of Concord, after a lengthy illness passed peacefully on June 26, 2021 in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Quincy she was the daughter of Russell and Marion (Powers) Bouton.

Anne worked at Digital Equipment Co from June 1969 to May 1992. She raised her family in Hudson and moved to Holyoke upon retirement. Anne made friends everywhere she went.  She enjoyed going to the senior center in Holyoke and having lunch with her friends who jokingly called her Queen Anne. She even taught a yoga class at the center.

Anne had a passion for travel. She took many trips to locations across the U.S. and around the world. A few of her favorite trips included a bus tour of the National Parks, a cruise to Russia and a visit to Egypt. She was a caring, compassionate woman who donated to many charities. She was also a staunch Democrat who could talk politics for hours.

She moved to Concord in 2017. She loved to sit on the porch and look at her own special garden and watch the birds and the other animals that might happen to pass through the yard. She also learned how to Facetime through the pandemic, which allowed her to enjoy the first year of her great-grandson’s life as well as keep in touch with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Mark T. Marini and his fiancée Suzanne Burke of Concord; her daughter, Diane Belisle and her husband James of Southampton; and her grandchildren, Lisa Belisle of Ludlow, Eric Belisle and his fiancé Charlie Rinaldo of Corona, Calif., and Elizabeth Coard, her husband Mackie and their son Theodore of Ashland. She is also survived by her sister, Helen (Boutin) Lirosi of Whitman, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will feel her loss deeply. She was the wife of the late Thomas J Marini, and the sister of the late John Boutin, William Boutin, and Joan (Boutin) Newcomb.

Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 29, from 4-7 p.m., at Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Her funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 30, at 9 a.m., in St. Michael Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial to follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson.
