NORTHBOROUGH – Area families gathered at the Ellsworth McAfee Park Pavillion in Northborough on Oct. 2 for a special “Build-A-Scarecrow Day” event.
The event was put on by Northborough Recreation, continuing a 14-year tradition of annual scarecrow-building fun.
Normally held at Assabet Park in town, this year’s event was moved to Ellsworth McAffee Park due to planned renovation work back at Assabet Park.
Scarecrows will now be displayed around the park until Halloween.
