Cheryl L. FaugnoMarlborough – Cheryl Lynn Faugno, 50, a lifelong resident of Marlborough, MA, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at UMass Medical Center in Worcester.

Cheryl was born  in Framingham, MA on September 23, 1970, a daughter of Kenneth P. Faugno and the late Ruth M. (Wilson) Faugno. She was raised in Marlborough, where she attended school and graduated from Marlborough High School. She subsequently attended Quinsigamond Community College and Fisher College, where she earned an Associate Degree in early childhood education. Cheryl loved children and caring for them as a nanny was a career that brought her great joy and satisfaction.

Cheryl also had a  love of books and reading, which she inherited from her mother. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls and figurines which were on display in her home. Cheryl was also an animal lover, and especially loved her cat. Although she did not have her own children, she loved her niece and nephew as if they were her own and was always very proud of their accomplishments, especially their many sporting achievements.In addition to her father, Kenneth P. Faugno, she is also survived by her beloved twin sister, Stacey Thomas and her husband Paul “Smokey” Thomas of Belgrade, ME; her niece, Olivia Thomas; her nephew, Jacob Thomas; her aunt Llnda Soriano and her husband Richard of Hudson and her uncle Frederick Faugno and his wife Mary of Waltham. She was also predeceased by several aunts and uncles.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Tighe-Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Vale Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
