Northborough – Marsha (Clifford) Fouracre died with her family at her side on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021.
She leaves her children; Robert E. Fouracre, Jr. and his partner Heidi Abare of Sterling, Steven Fouracre of Westborough and Elizabeth Fouracre-Anderson, and her husband Axel of Northborough, two grandchildren; Emily Fouracre of Ashland, Connor Anderson of Auburn, and nieces and nephews. Her sisters Joyce Zulaica and Carole Fagerquist predeceased her.
Marsha was born in Worcester, the daughter of Kendall and Helen (Trainor) Clifford. Marsha grew up and spent the majority of her life living in Northborough. In her youth, she worked for her father’s business as a truck driver, the foundation of her wanderlust.
A graduate of Northborough High School, she went on to graduate from secretarial school. After graduation, Marsha decided to take another path and started her career as a stewardess for Northwestern Airlines. A career that provided her with the freedom that was not common to most women of her time. Marsha left the airlines to become a wife and mother. She later re-entered the workforce as an Executive Administrative Assistant retiring in 2002.
Marsha enjoyed her retirement thoroughly. She loved to travel with family and always enjoyed a good road trip. She was an avid reader and was a longtime volunteer for the Northborough Free Library.
Please consider memorial donations in Marsha’s memory to the Northborough Free Library, 34 Main Street, Northborough, MA 01532. (www.northboroughlibrary.org).
All services will be at the convenience of the family. Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street, Northborough was honored to assist the Fouracre family with arrangements.
