Clarence E. LivelyWorcester – Clarence E. Lively, 70, of Worcester, MA, formerly of Acton, MA and Hudson, MA died on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, in Worcester, MA. He leaves his beloved wife Frances A. (Nicosia) Lively of Worcester, MA.

Clarence was born in Marlborough, MA, son of the late Roy G. Lively Sr. and Marion (Manning) Lively. He was raised in Hudson, MA where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Marlborough Technical High School. He was employed by the Riverside Belting Company in Hudson for many years until he retired. Both Clarence and his wife Frances moved to Acton, MA following their marriage and resided there until moving to Worcester, MA in 2000.

Clarence had a few hobbies as his years passed including a short time he tried archery. He and several friends also would collect used ammunition shells from the local shooting ranges and repacking the ammunition shells to save on the cost of purchasing ammunition. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and cherished the times he shared with Frances his wife throughout the years. He will truly be missed.

Besides his wife, he leaves his 6 siblings, Roberta Clements and husband John of Westminster, MA, Judith Cessford of Worcester, MA. Donna Juaire of Marlborough, MA, Lisa Talbert and husband Tracy of Lunenburg, MA, Roy G. Lively Jr. of Worcester, MA and Kimberly Pelser and husband Andrew of Northborough, MA. He is also survived by his two sisters-in-law, Barbara Mullen and husband Mattof Bridgewater, MA, Carol Mendell and husband David of Worcester, MA along with other relatives and close friends. He was predeceased by his brother Curtis Lively of Arizona.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A service and celebration of Clarence’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Concord Road, Acton, MA.
