Marlborough will host cardboard recycling event

Marlborough Mayor concerned with Phase two of vaccine rollout.MARLBOROUGH – With cardboard boxes from online shopping piling up from the holidays, Marlborough is hosting an event where residents can drop off their flattened cardboard boxes.

The Cardboard Recycling Event will be hosted at the Department of Public Works yard at 135 Neil Street on both Dec. 27 and 28 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Individuals can drop off as many flattened cardboard boxes as possible.

The city is reminding people that only cardboard boxes will be accepted. Marlborough staff will not accept packing materials or other recyclables.
