Debra A. FrostShrewsbury – Debra A. Frost, 57 of Shrewsbury, surrounded by her family, passed peacefully from this life into the arms of her loving God on January 1st, 2022. With a steadfast determination, positive attitude, expert medical care from Dana Farber and the love and support of her family and friends, Deb lived and lived well nearly 9 years with advanced lung cancer.

Deb was the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia (Meringolo) Seigh.  She grew up in the Grafton Hill section of Worcester and spent her summers on Stiles Reservoir in Spencer.  There she experienced many joyful times with her parents; sisters, Tina, and Kelly; many relatives; close neighbors the Noars; and an extended lake “family.”

Deb was a hardworking and conscientious employee. She completed her degree in secretarial studies at Quinsigamond Community College and worked at Lane and Greene and New England Design in Worcester and later at the TJX Companies in Framingham.  She was working as a legal secretary for Paul Revere Life Insurance Company when she met and married Jeffrey Frost of Holden. Together they moved to Shrewsbury and joined their beloved St. Anne’s Parish. Later, Deb was employed by University Dental in Worcester.

Deb cared deeply for her family. This was no more evident than in the raising of her two children. She was a tireless advocate for her son, Matthew, born with Down Syndrome.  She and her dear friend, Maura, started a local Down Syndrome support group which provided parents of children with Down Syndrome help with caring for and raising their children.

Deb’s home was always a welcoming place where people could gather and be warmed by her exceptional cooking and her cozy country home. Her and Jeff’s annual Christmas caroling party for family and friends was a highlight of the Christmas season.

Deb leaves her husband of 25 years, Jeffrey Frost, along with their daughter, Amanda, and son, Matthew. She also leaves her sisters, Tina (Seigh) DiPilato and her husband John of Worcester, and Kelly Seigh of Warwick RI; dear aunts and uncles, Paul and Sharon Meringolo of Worcester and Bob and Carmella Constanzo of Port Richey, Florida; loving nieces Jessica and Deanna DiPilato, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; sisters- and brothers-in-law, who also cherished her; and dear friend Wendy (Noar) O’Leary and her husband Dennis of Spencer.

The Frost, Seigh, and DiPilato families would like to thank Debra’s oncology team of Dr. Michael Rabin and NP Cathleen Power from the Dana Farber Cancer Center in Boston, as well as the entire Hospice team and in particular her nurse Hillary from the Jewish Healthcare Center in Worcester.

A Mass celebrating Debra’s life will be held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 11:15 am.  Burial will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
