“Hudson deserves to have won ‘Best Main Street in the country'”

Letter to the Editor logo28 years ago I moved to a small bungalow on Lake Boon, leaving urban life behind. Though I was extremely happy with my neighborhood community, I was a bit uncertain about some aspects of downtown Hudson. Even our realtor had thrown some concerns our way. Let’s just say there was an overall atmosphere of an old dusty mill town.

Flash forward to present day downtown and what a transformation! Our home has become the hub of many friend and family gatherings due in large part to downtown’s inviting selection of unique and varied shops, as well as incredible restaurants and breweries. The Farmer’s Market and live sidewalk music add to the allure.

Hudson deserves to have won “Best Main Street in the country” and I couldn’t be more proud.
